چکیده
The elevated temperature tensile behavior of a Nb-Mo microalloyed medium steel was investigated over the ?50 to 150 °C range. ultimate strength significantly reduced with increasing deformation temperature, but both YS (yield strength) and EI (total elongation) values changed slightly. best product UTS (ultimate (~59.5 GPa·%) can be achieved at 50 °C, implying an excellent combination ductility. Furthermore, change in strain hardening rate as function further explained by following two aspects: dependence mechanical stability retained austenite on well mechanism temperature. Theoretical models experimental observations demonstrate that dominant present Mn from single transformation-induced plasticity (TRIP) effect multiple TRIP + TWIP (twinning-induced plasticity) 50–150 °C.

The Isothermal Oxidation Behavior of a Ti3Al-Nb-V-Mo Alloy
The isothermal oxidation behavior of Ti-24Al-14Nb-3V-0.5Mo alloy in synthetic air from 700°C to 1000°C was studied. The main emphasis was focused on the effect of microstructure obtained by different processes of melting and hot rolling, i.e. large and duplex of 2+B2, on the oxidation resistance. Regardless of the microstructure, the overall oxidation process of the specimens exposed at 700°C w...
متن کاملEffect of Finish Rolling Temperature on the Microstructure and Tensile Properties of Nb–Ti Microalloyed X90 Pipeline Steel
The relationship between microstructure and tensile properties of an Nb–Ti microalloyed X90 pipeline steel was studied as a function of finish rolling temperature using a Gleeble 3500 simulator, an optical and scanning electron microscope, electron back scattered diffraction (EBSD), a transmission electron microscope (TEM) and X-ray diffraction. The results indicate that the microstructure is p...
متن کاملDetermining the Hot Deformation Temperature Range of Medium Carbon Ni-Cr-Mo Low Alloy Steels using Hot Tensile and Hot Torsion Tests
The aim of this study was to investigate the suitable temperature range for hot deformation of three medium carbon Ni-Cr-Mo low alloy steels by hot tensile and hot torsion tests. Hot tensile tests were carried out in the te,prature range of 850-1150°C at a constant strain rate of 0.1 s-1 until fracture. Then, the tensile flow behavior, hot ductility and microstructural evolution of the steels w...
متن کاملAbnormal Plastic Behavior of Fine Grain Mp35n Alloy During Room Temperature Tensile Testing
In this paper, results of an investigation on the strain hardening responses of superalloy MP35N with two average grain sizes of 38 and 1 μm, during room temperature tensile testing are reported. The microstructural evolution of the deformed samples was studied using optical and transmission electron microscopy (TEM) techniques. The strain hardening behavior of the 38 μm material was rather sim...
